glitteryrainbows:

I know that some people are hating on the Love Who Loves You Back video…saying it’s smutty or whatever but I couldn’t disagree more.

I know it’s a big departure for the boys, so understandably people are a bit surprised but I think it’s a sexy, classy video, where the girls weren’t objectified and there was a nice mix of same sex and opposite sex couples. And there wasn’t a complete white wash either. I think it’s just nice to see something that’s sexy but still respects all of those involved. Cause that’s seriously rare in the world of music videos.

And wow, Bill….wow. It’s nice to see him so confident and comfortable with himself. I’m proud of him. Sexuality shouldn’t be this shameful, dirty thing and there was nothing particularly filthy about the video. I’d call it sensual really.

I know I few people are accusing it of glamorising orgies or calling casual sex ‘love’ but I feel as though those people are missing the point. What do we see at the end? Bill left alone looking lost and oh so very vulnerable. I think that’s the real message of the song and perhaps what Bill has been dealing with these past few years. One night stands being fulfilling in some ways but there still being that eventual loneliness that comes once it’s over.
